Google have been pushing their Google Apps for Domains service recently. In the US they have used both TV and Billboards to advertise their product. As far as I’m aware though, all these adverts have been aimed at business.

Here at Tintent, we’ve been using a Google Apps account to provide all our family’s email needs. We’ve been doing this for a number of years and believe that many other families could benefit as well.

At the weekend we decided to try a new venture, moving into the domain registration arena. Obviously there isn’t much new in this but we’re looking at adding a slight twist. Our target market will be people that don’t currently own a domain and probably don’t currently think they need one! We’re hoping to pursuade them otherwise!!

This means we need to develop a new site. What better route could we try but Wordpress?! The difference this time though is that it’s our first shot at a commercial site using Wordpress.
