The original theme I used on this site came direct from the Wordpress Repository. It was called Neonglow and can still be found here.
Unfortunately I had a few difficulties. There were a couple of plugins that just didn’t work right and ultimately I just wasn’t sure that white text on a near black background was the best way to go.
I do enjoy playing with themes but I haven’t yet graduated to building my own from scratch. At the weekend I was having a browse through the latest offerings on the net and I came across spectacu.la. Now this isn’t a brand new site but it was a first time visit for me. They seem to be trying to put a Theme Club together but have apparently run into a few problems on the way. For the time being they are offering their themes for free download under a GPL licence.
As you can probably make out from this screenshot of the original theme, I have adapted it slightly. Overall though, I only adjusted the style.css file and one of the images. I hope they don’t mind too much!
