I’ve just found out that many of the maps I have added to Campsite Reviews do not work correctly in Internet Explorer 6.
I know from my site stats that there are still quite a few people using this browser. In fact, the IT department at my day job still insist that we use IE6 despite there being a newer version available.
If you are using Internet Explorer 6 (or even older), I would strongly recommend that you at least upgrade to the latest version. IE7 has been around for a while and IE8 is available for testing.
Ideally though, I would suggest that you try something different. Firefox (http://getfirefox.com) is a great place to start. It can be as simple or as complicated as you want to make it because there is a huge selection of ‘add ons’ that you can use to customise the programme.
Another option you may have heard of recently is Google Chrome. This is a very simple browser that has been designed to make surfing the web as fast as possible. It is still in testing mode and there are a lot of features that have not been added yet but it is a very user friendly choice.
If you decide to give either Firefox or Google Chrome and you have any trouble, drop me a line and I’ll try to help you out.
